Robust health insurance

We offer plans that cover 100% of employee premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance and offer HSA and FSA plans. We also fully cover telemedicine, short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance for employees.

Flexible Paid Time Off

Take time to rest and recharge with our Flexible Paid Time Off. We encourage everyone to take a minimum of 3 weeks of vacation each year, in addition to paid holidays and sick days.

Company holidays

We offer 13 paid company holidays throughout the year, plus 1 floating holiday of your choice.

Remote-first culture

Having a distributed team allows us to communicate intentionally and work effectively. All of our interviews, onboarding, and day-to-day work take place fully remotely. We have an office in downtown Chicago for employees to take advantage of.

Paid family leave

After 6 months of employment, parents can take up to 12 weeks of leave to welcome a child through birth, surrogacy, or adoption, with 8 weeks fully paid.

Tech stipend

We offer a $50/mo stipend to use toward your remote work needs to make sure you have a great work setup.

Give back day

Employees get 1 paid day per year to volunteer with an organization they’re passionate about.

Annual company offsite

Once a year, we plan an all-expenses-paid offsite with equal parts education, connection, and fun.

Learning & Development program

Buildout offers a Learning & Development program to give you the foundational tools to succeed, with everything from training on the CRE industry, to live secret speakers, to book clubs, and more.
